The temps have been in the 50s this week and the snow is
receding. The warmth and glimpses of soil is filling us with hope for spring.
For gardens and planting. The itch to grow things is strong, but I know better
than to give in. We’ll get more snow. Possibly a lot. Temps will drop again
before we finally break free of winter. We will revel in the thaw though, grateful
for this reminder that winter isn’t forever.
